Senior guards carry teams in March, it's always been that way

Teams that have crappy guard play or younger guards lose in the tournament.

UVA, Iowa, OSU, Illinois (Dosunmu was awful), Texas, Clemson, Purdue, UNC.. All these teams are carried by dominant big men, and all of them lost in the 1st round.

The only teams that have really good guards yet lost are Tennessee and UCONN, and others have looked dominant (Colorado, Alabama, ORU, Cuse, Arkansas, Oregon).

VT falls somewhere in the middle, UF has really good guards and we matched up with them defensively. Problem for us is our guards are very one-dimensional with the exception of Alleyne.

Radford only plays in isolation, Cattoor only shoots, Cone only shoots, Bede doesn't shoot ever. Alleyne can do both but he rarely passes.
